Course Content

Mandatory Units

  • Module 1 – The Principles of Risk Assessment: This module covers the necessity of risk assessments for maintaining and enhancing workplace health and safety standards. It delves into identifying the primary causes of work-related fatalities and injuries, along with understanding the moral, legal, and economic imperatives for accident prevention. You will be able to define key terms related to risk assessment and explore its role in accident prevention. Legal obligations, a basic risk assessment process, factors influencing risk levels, prioritisation methods, and record-keeping requirements are also addressed.

On successful completion of your award, your assessor will coordinate with the awarding body for the issuance of your certificates, which will be promptly delivered to you.
