Purpose of a Mock CQC Inspection?
To be fully prepared and confident with your CQC inspection, so that you are CQC ready and can welcome an inspection to showcase the service that you provide.
These inspections can be organised as announced or unannounced visits.
What You Can Expect From a CQC Inspection?
An expert within the sector providing an honest, neutral, critical and professional appraisal against the standards and Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOE’S). Using key lines of enquiry helps us make sure we’re consistent in what we look at under each of the five key questions and that we focus on the areas that matter the most. Your assigned expert is competent and confident at conducting mock inspections to help you achieve outstanding results for your service.
You can also expect a contract and signed non-disclosure as well as a full plan of the day (s). The number of days will be negotiated and agreed, from one day to three days depending on the size of the service and the number of users who access this service.
What’s included in a Mock CQC Inspection?
An initial analysis covering your organisation’s structure, culture of your staff team, company values and mission statement. We also assess the provider responsibilities and reporting lines as well as what you want to achieve through this inspection.
This also offers the opportunity for the whole staff team to experience an inspection in a safe way during “business as usual” activities.
One or Two days on site, depending on the size of your service, carrying out a full inspection with feedback. You will also receive a detailed report and action plan for improvement which will feed into Quality Improvement Plans.
We can also offer follow up support and progress visits as well as training for your staff team on KLOE’s and other key topics as appropriate.
