Mandatory Units
- Module 1 – Principles of Hazardous Substance Control: This covers the legal framework surrounding hazardous substances in workplaces, including employer and employee duties. It explores methods of communicating safety information and conducting assessments during emergencies. You will learn to recognise hazards and risks, conduct risk assessments, and manage incidents effectively. Additionally, it delves into CPR procedures, risk control measures, and proper handling, transportation, storage, and disposal of hazardous substances, emphasising safety protocols and incident response procedures.

On successful completion of your award, your assessor will coordinate with the awarding body for the issuance of your certificates, which will be promptly delivered to you.
