Jo Oldfield is the Co-Founder and Director of Complete Training and one of Greater Manchester’s most respected specialists in care sector education. With over 30 years of experience across the Health and Social Care sector, Jo has developed a reputation for designing and delivering accredited training that is inclusive, accessible, and tailored to the real-world needs of both services and their end users.

Her career has included key roles with local authorities, private organisations, and as a freelance consultant and educator. She brings a strong strategic focus to her work, having provided high-level consultancy in leadership development, service design, coaching, and workforce wellbeing. She is also a certified life coach and advocate for inclusive practices and mental health in the workplace.

Jo’s professional interests centre around Diversity, Equality and Inclusion, and empowering individuals through education. She has particular expertise in supporting people with ADHD, Autism, complex mental health needs, learning disabilities, and age-related cognitive challenges. She is the lead developer of an independent living skills curriculum for people with a range of disabilities, designed to support transition services and lifelong independence.

A published author of six books on ADHD and Autism, Jo is deeply committed to raising awareness and improving support in both professional and personal care contexts. Her written resources are widely used across the care sector and reflect her unwavering dedication to improving the quality and accessibility of care education in the UK.

At Complete Training, Jo leads the continuous development and evaluation of course content, ensuring all training remains aligned with the latest regulations, best-practice standards, and the needs of an evolving sector. She remains actively involved in the delivery of training herself — a part of the role she is deeply passionate about, continuing to inspire learners and champion high-quality, person-centred education.
